FEBRUARY DANCE BIZ
NO DANCE PRESIDENTS DAY
Monday classes will not be in session February 20th. Dancers can come to an alternate evening
for a makeup class if they wish, but not necessary.
PICTURES
Saturday March 17th. at the studio. I am asking all the dancing dads to come to a picture
session also A time schedule for each class can be found on the bottom of this page.
SHOES/COSTUMES
Costumes are already beginning to trickle in. Please have your dancer try this on, and put it
away in a safe place. The beginning of March, each class will receive a separate handout which
will include a checklist, makeup suggestions, and hair styles.
CLASS DVD'S AND CD'S
Each dancer should have one. Dvd's are only being made for Pre-school dancers. This is a
great tool to help your dancer practice at home. Forms are on the desk to complete.
DADDY DAUGHTER
I have decided to go with a pre-school group -- a K-2 group, 3rd grade and higher and dad only
dance. Below are the times for the ONLY Sunday practice we will be having. I also listed the
attire needed for this. Please ask if you have questions. Please remember that the girls have
to be able to dance in what you choose.
#1 May 6th 11:45-1:00 p.m. Pre-school- Daughters will wear a pink dress of their choice.
Anything goes, party dress, flower girl dress, sequins, rhinestones....ect! Pink ballet slippers
as well. They should also have a hair accessory to match their dress. Daddy will wear black
dress pants, black dress shoes, white longed sleeve shirt and a long black tie.
#2 May 6th 1:00-2:15 p.m. K-2nd Grade. Daughters will wear a white dress of their choice.
Anything goes for this. Pink ballet slippers. They should have a hair accessory to match their
dress. Daddy will wear black dress pants, black dress shoes, white longed sleeve shirt and a
long black tie.
#3 May 6th 2:15-3:30 p.m. 3rd Grade and higher. Daughters will need anything black and a
pair of kitty cat ears. Black tank tops, black leotard, black short skirts, booty shorts....please
add some glitz to this. Sequins, rhinestones what ever you can think of. Jazz shoes as this will
be a jazzy dance. Dads will need a black pair of dress pants, a black solid short sleeve shirt (no
writing on it) and black shoes.
#4 May 6th 3:30-?? Dads Only--A black solid suit coat, darker denim jeans, white solid tank top
under the sport coat, & black shoes.
I strongly encourage moms to video tape this day so dad and daughter can practice at home.
With only one practice they may forget it.
WEB SITE/TUITION PAYMENT
Once again the web site is: www.onstageschoolofdance.biz Several people have used the
convenient pay pal. You do not need to set up a pay pal account to pay with your visa. There
is a $1.50 service fee.
WEATHER
There will always be a message on the answering machine, and a note on the web site if class
has been canceled due to bad weather. If after school sports are canceled due to bad weather
so is dance.
BIRTHDAY PARTY
On Stage can host your dancers birthday party. Check out the web site for more information.
RECITAL
May 19th & 20th. Please take a recital Handout on the desk in the waiting area.
